One of the most important things of our preparation has been our search for the right bicycles. We plan to cycle most part of our journey so our bicycles have to endure quite a lot. When we’re on the road we like to cook ourselves. Especially when we camp we’ll be sitting in front of our tent to prepare a nice meal.

Sleeping

Sleeping is great, especially after a long day cycling, strolling around bazaars or lying at the beach. Everything we need to make ourselves comfortably we carry with us. Our journey will take us through different countries and climates. It depends on the country where and how we sleep, camping or in a small lodge.

DSLR CAMERA
After years off analogue photography we've decided to get a new digital slr camera for our pictures. The last couple of years we found it more difficult getting quality film rolls espescially in Asia and Australia. Besides the rolls the quality of developing also got less.

Other

LIGHTS
We both have the Petzl Myo3 head lights. We can use these when we're camping or need to cycle in the dark. The great advantage of a head light is that we have our hands free and the light shines where we are looking. The Myo3 is a head light with two types of lamps.
